I've linked to a lot of Pierre Alary's Sinbad stuff, but apparently he's also working on a Moby Dick comic. It would take a lot to get me interested in reading a new version of Moby Dick, but Alary artwork would easily do the trick.

Nemo's motorcycle helmet
Calvin dug this up along with a bunch of other cool helmets. I think to pull this one off you need to be riding a motorcycle shaped like a shark (probably with a front-mounted cannon that shoots tridents), but it would be so worth the effort.
Teddy Bear Pirates
My pal Charles turned me on to Travis Hanson's artwork. I'm posting it here because of the Teddy Bear Pirates art, but seriously I'd pay big bucks to read comics based on every piece of work in that slideshow. I mean, the reason I embedded the slideshow was because I couldn't pick just one picture that I wanted to point out.
